V.N. Zaporozhan created one of the first in Ukraine genetic laboratory and Research and Development Institute of molecular-genetic and cellular medicine, the Director whereof he is. While introducing new molecular-genetic and cellular technologies in the clinical practice, V.N. Zaporozhan develops methods of long-term autologous stem cell cultivation and protocols of their clinical application.

Long-term scientific experience helped him develop a new scientific area – genetic medicine, which essentially increased possibilities for scientific research and development of innovative molecular-genetic methods for diagnostics and treatment of socially significant diseases, as well as integration thereof in all medical fields.

Pioneer developments of V.N. Zaporozhan in the sphere of organ preserving technologies and implementation thereof in medical practice, are fundamental and of high priority. V.N.
